SR Snowmobile Safety Course
The club’s Snowmobile Safety Course will take place Saturday, November 10th at the Barnstead Parade Fire Station, 305 Parade Road, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Students must be 12 years old by the end of the riding season. Lunch and a morning snack will be provided. Parents must pre-register their child before the start of class, and we encourage parents to attend the class if they like.
As of this writing (of the Newsletter) we have only 3 kids signed up so far. More youngsters are definitely needed for the class, or we may have to cancel. Don’t delay signing up do it now!

18th Annual Ham & Bean Supper
(Wow! This meal has been going on for 18 years straight!)
When is it? Saturday,
from 5 to 7 p.m.
Cost: $8.50 Adult
$5.00 ages 6 to 12
Free ages 5 and under
Where: Barnstead Parade Fire Station, 305 Parade Road
The meal consists of Ham, a Variety of Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Cole Slaw, Roll, Drink & lots and lots of Desserts.
This supper is not only a fundraiser and open to the public, but an appreciation meal for our landowners who allow us the use of their property for snowmobiling. It’s our way of saying “Thank You” to them.
Also, anyone who attends the dinner is given the opportunity to win one of our 3 frozen turkeys that we give away.
Club Members: we will be looking for donations of homemade beans, as well as desserts. Items may be dropped off at the Parade Fire Station anytime after 3 p.m. the day of the meal. Raffle tickets are $20 each. See any club member for a ticket, or better yet come to the Ham & Bean Supper and obtain a ticket. Drawing date is February 8, 2019 at the club’s annual trip to the Town & Country. You will certainly be notified if you’re a winner!!!!
Some club members got together a couple weeks ago to look at some upcoming trail projects, and weather permitting they’re looking at Sunday, November 4th to start some trail work. If you can help give Andy a call at 848-7994, or Matt at 435-6737. They will direct you where to meet, and what time, etc.
The club is looking into having some T-Shirts printed. A way to promote the club more. Further discussion at our November meeting.
Club’s Next Meeting
Will be Wednesday, November 7th at the Barnstead Parade Fire Station starting a 7:00 p.m.
